Cowork Nord Barrier-free website

Barrier-free relaunch
Cowork Nord brings coworking to rural areas: with six locations in Kiel, Neumünster, Eckernförde, Schwentinental, Hohenwestedt and Niebüll. The workspaces are located in regional start-up centers and are open to the self-employed, commuters, project teams and companies. As part of the Accessibility Reinforcement Act, the outdated Wordpress system was to be replaced by a modern technological basis with a barrier-free web design.
We completely redeveloped the website based on the headless CMS Strapi and the front-end framework Nuxt.js. The information architecture was fundamentally revised and the web design optimized according to the WCAG AAA guidelines. Accessibility was ensured and continuously improved through manual user tests and automated audits with WAVE.
Technologies used
Booking form
The accessible booking form enables users to request a simple, secure and inclusive booking of coworking spaces. The form is optimized according to the WCAG-AAA guidelines and offers a seamless user experience through live validation, understandable feedback mechanisms and an accessible design.

Interactive map of the locations
The six locations in Schleswig Holstein are visualized geographically on an interactive map. The map is based on a simple graphic and does not require a third-party service. Preview popovers allow quick access to a specific location. The map can also be customized via the CMS and expanded in the future if necessary.
