Rendsburg Port Authority Accessible website
Modernization of the website to improve the presentation of the port and commercial areas
The previous website was to be modernized both visually and technically and adapted to today's requirements. In addition, the Rendsburg Port Authority would like to market its available commercial space in an appealing way and provide detailed information about the heavy goods port. Another aim is to make it easier for interested visitors to the website to make contact.
Accessible website with Strapi and Nuxt
We designed and developed an accessible website that meets the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. We took the existing corporate design into account to ensure a consistent brand presence. The website was created using the Strapi content management system and the Nuxt framework to enable independent maintenance of the content on the one hand and to ensure optimum performance on the other.
In order to measure user behavior, we have set up Matomo for the Rendsburg Port Authority, an EU data protection-compliant solution that does not require cookies.

Interactive map of the commercial areas
We have created a map showing all the areas of the industrial estate. Its location in relation to Rendsburg Port is also shown to provide a better overview of the surrounding area. The interactivity makes it possible to click on both vacant and occupied areas to display further information on the companies located there or available areas.
Making contact
The Rendsburg Port Authority wanted a way to display individual contacts by topic on the website. In the Strapi content management system, they can enter one general contact or specific contact person per page. We placed a floating button at the top right of the screen for a quick route to the telephone number. This can be extended by visitors to the website as required. The button behaves like the main navigation and is hidden when scrolling down so as not to be a constant distraction. It reappears as soon as you scroll upwards.
Rendsburg Port Authority
The Rendsburg Port Authority (RPA) owns the heavy goods port of Rendsburg Port and is responsible for its management and further development. The port is located on the Kiel Canal and is geared towards heavy goods and special transports. RPA also develops and markets the adjacent Rendsburg Port Süd commercial area.
