Website Relaunch for a Digitally Oriented Hotel and Restaurant Association
The previous DEHOGA Schleswig-Holstein website no longer met the association’s requirements. The biggest problem: The team had no way to update the content themselves. However, this access is essential for communicating with members. The association regularly publishes event schedules, press releases, and informational materials for its members and potential members. In addition, we were tasked with modernizing the design and optimizing the user experience. In parallel with the relaunch, the association planned a members-only area integrated into the website, which we also implemented.
Modern, responsive website with a Nuxt front end and Strapi CMS
We developed a web design tailored to the association’s desired public image. Technically, the website is based on the Nuxt.js front-end framework and the headless CMS Strapi. This allows the DEHOGA Schleswig-Holstein team to manage all editorial content—such as text, images, and events—on their own. The result: a modern, responsive website that loads quickly on all devices and ranks well in search engines.

Event Registration Form
DEHOGA Schleswig-Holstein organizes its own events, such as training sessions, guided tours, and networking meetings, some of which are held in collaboration with partners. Registration is required for some of these events. Our registration form collects structured data and sends it directly via email to the association’s staff, which simplifies the organizational process. In the CMS, the team itself determines which events require registration. For member events, the DEHOGA membership number can be set as a required field.
Partner Overview
The partner companies of DEHOGA Schleswig-Holstein were to be given a stronger presence and more information on the new website. To achieve this, we incorporated several logo walls that allow individual partners to be highlighted alongside their services and created an overview of all partners. It is particularly useful for association members to know which partners offer them special rates. To provide a quick overview, we’ve added a corresponding filter. However, the specific special rates are intentionally visible only in the members-only area.
DEHOGA Landesverband S.-H. e.V.
DEHOGA Schleswig-Holstein is the state’s hotel and restaurant association and represents approximately 2,000 restaurant owners and hoteliers. It advises its members on all business-related matters, ranging from labor law and government grants to succession planning. It is the only association in the state that arranges apprenticeships in the hospitality industry. In addition, it organizes seminars, workshops, and webinars for the continuing education of employees.
