Initial situation & goal

Redesign of an outdated website

The previous website for our customer's vacation home in the Mecklenburg Lake District was outdated and needed to be updated. The aim was to skillfully showcase the vacation home. The rooms and the many good reasons for a stay on vacation or on workation were to be convincingly conveyed. The high-quality appearance of the building also places high demands on the design of the website, which needed to be professional and appealing in order to present the quality of the vacation home appropriately.
Our solution

A website that does justice to the modern architecture of the vacation home

We worked closely with the client to develop and refine the design of the website in order to achieve a suitable result. The implementation was carried out with the help of Nuxt and Strapi. Thanks to the content management system, the numerous information and photos of the vacation home can be easily entered and subsequently adapted if necessary.

Design in harmony with the essence of the vacation home 

We have developed a design for this website that picks up on the modern, spacious architecture and the natural surroundings of the vacation home on the Mecklenburg Lake District. The use of white space in the right places creates an airy and open atmosphere. The simple and modern typography underlines the contemporary character of the vacation home. The color palette of green and beige pays homage to the natural materials that can be found both in the vacation home itself and in its surroundings.

Lots of space for information

Our customer provides a large amount of information on the website to give visitors the best possible insight. After all, the vacation home on the lake district impresses with its architecture, the spacious property and a wide range of activities. That's why we've created clearly laid out lists and have highlighted the features at a glance using icons. For the numerous photos, we have created an extensive picture gallery that invites you to explore the vacation home on several pages.

Integration of an occupancy calendar for a smooth request process 

At our customer's request, we integrated Webplanner's occupancy calendar into the website. This allows visitors to the site, especially potential interested parties, to see directly on which days the vacation home is still available. It is also possible to submit an inquiry directly in order to make a booking.

Presentation of hiking routes using Komoot 

At the request of our customer, we have enabled the integration of outdoor content from Komoot on this website. This allows visitors to the website to see selected hiking routes to show the possibilities for tours in the vicinity of the vacation home and provide inspiration.
