at.tension #9 Theater Festival Website

Relaunch of the website for the biennial theater festival
The at.tension Festival is a biennial, interdisciplinary theater festival curated, organized, and produced by members of Kulturkosmos Müritz e.V. and its network of supporters. The Kulturkosmos’s sprawling, approximately 100-hectare grounds in Lärz offer a unique setting and extraordinary venues for a theater festival: airplane hangars, an old runway, various circus tents, as well as diverse park and open spaces. Plus, large camping areas including a swimming lake. For each edition of at.tension, the festival’s corporate design—and thus also the web design—is revised by our project partner Philipp Semmler, and we then implement a new version of the website.
Development of a highly personalized, playful website
Working closely with Philipp Semmler and following his design specifications, we created a highly customized website for the online communication of the at.tension Festival #9. The framework was designed to be reusable for future editions of the festival. Playful animations and bold colors are intended to reflect the festival’s character in the user interface. The technical foundation is provided by our Laravel-based CMS, litstack.
