A digital science report
A magazine website was developed for CAU Kiel's cluster of excellence The Future Ocean, analogous to a print publication. The aim was to present the content of the print publication in a digitally adequate way. The linear format of the print publication was broken up by random article sequences, filter and search functions and cross-links. The CMS behind the system enables fast and easy maintenance of the articles and content.
GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel
The GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research in Kiel is a renowned research institution specializing in the study of the oceans and their role in the global climate system. The center conducts innovative research in the fields of oceanography, marine biology, geosciences and climate research. Through close collaboration between scientists from different disciplines, important knowledge about the oceans is gained here in order to better understand the effects of climate change and to develop sustainable solutions for the protection of marine ecosystems.
